Medical Staff

Janice McKenney, MD

Dr. McKenney is a Family Practice Physician who joined the Huron Clinic in 1994.  Dr. McKenney provides healthcare services for all ages, including wellness exams, treatment of chronic diseases, and acute illness and injuries.  She serves as the Medical Director for the Women's Health and Education Center, which provides services under the South Dakota Family Planning Program. Dr McKenney is also the Medical Director for Sunquest Healthcare Center, and for the Our Home Program in Huron.

Kristi Glanzer, CNP

Kristi Glanzer is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who has practiced family medicine since 1997.  Kristi joined the Huron Clinic in 2001 as a family medical care provider.  She provides wellness and health maintenance exams, as well as management of chronic diseases and treatment for acute illnesses or injuries.  Kristi also provides family planning services for women and men through the South Dakota Family Planning Program (Huron Area Family Planning), an income-based program.

Lynette Steen, CNP

Lynette Steen is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who has joined the Huron Clinic from Rapid City, South Dakota.  A graduate of South Dakota State University, Lyn has a special interest in wellness and prevention, and children's health, as well as providing treatment for acute illness or injuries, and disease management.  Lyn also assists with the Huron Area Diabetes Support Group, and provides diabetes education for Huron Clinic patients.

 Sarah Goral, PA-C

Sarah Goral, Certified Physician Assistant, has joined Huron Clinic in August of 2010 as a Family Medicine healthcare provider.  Sarah earned her Physician Assistant, Master of Science degree from St Francis University in Pennsylvania.  Sarah enjoys providing medical care for all ages, in a rural community.  In addition, Sarah will perform exams for wellness, employment, or school physicals, as well as treatment for acute illness or injuries.

 Erik Simon, PA-C

Erik Simon, Certified Physician Assistant, has joined Huron Clinic in February of 2013 as a Family Medicine healthcare provider.  Erik is a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, with clinical experience in the fields of family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine and orthopedics.  He performs wellness and health maintenance exams, and manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.  Erik also treats acute illnesses such as fever, cough and injuries. 

Associate Staff

Russell Johnson, DPM, is board certified in Podiatric Medicine, as well as Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Johnson is a provider at Brown Clinic in Watertown, South Dakota, who comes to the Huron Clinic weekly to provide foot care for local patients.
